Represent your Fandom, and Join us for a day of Comic-con activities!

There are activities and talks all throughout the library: Compete in gaming circles, test out tabletop games, decorate and enjoy themed snacks, paint miniatures, learn the art of SFX makeup, and enjoy plenty of photo ops.

In addition to drop-in activities, we have two authors joining us to give talks:

Image of Ethan GilsdorfAuthor (and self—proclaimed nerd) Ethan Gilsdorf will share his experiences through his talk “How Dungeons & Dragons Saved My Life”. His book, “Fantasy Freaks and Gaming Geeks” will be available for purchase.

In this inspiring and motivational talk, Ethan Gilsdorf, author of "Fantasy Freaks and Gaming Geeks: An Epic Quest for Reality Among Role Players, Online Gamers, and Other Dwellers of Imaginary Realms", describes his journey as a nerdy teenager growing up in a complicated family, and how D&D provided a safe space for creativity, socializing and positive escape — helping him on his path to become the (mostly) well-adjusted adult human being he is today and ultimately, saving his life.
