Feel like getting dirty?
Join staff and the volunteers from the park as well as from the Westerly Land Trust in the big job of removing the bulk of the organic materials that have accumulated in the park pond since last year. The pond will be partially drained and volunteer workers will rake and remove the leaves, branches and dead aquatic plant material. It's a mucky job so bring appropriate boots and gloves and bring along any hard grading rakes or flat transfer shovels you may have.
